Curse Of Frankenstein
1957

Facts:

•For copyright reasons, Hammer's make-up artist Phil Leakey couldn't copy Jack Pierce's design for the creature in Whale's original Frankenstein (1931), hence the botched-up papier mache version Lee has to endure (which is actually more faithful to the source novel)
•Lee hated the role (there's a surprise)
•Director Fisher purposefully made the Baron the star, not the creature - a complete turn-around to previous film versions
•It is often considered to be the first colour British Horror Film, but this is by no means as clear cut as you might think
